HTC Vive display is blurry

HTC Vive display is blurry - Himiway E-Bike Speedometer on Handlebar

I recently bought a HTC Vive and on all of my games it looks blurry. I asked a friend who also has a Vive on what I could do, he said change the resolution percentage in Steam VR. I tried this and nothing worked, I have also tried to adjust the headset lenses (backwards and forwards and side to side) but that doesn't work either. I know VR headsets are not supposed to have amazing picture quality but it is really quite bad when I am playing, especially when I am playing pavlov, I can barely see enemies that are 10m+ from me. If anyone knows how to fix this, it would be much appreciated if you could let me know :) Thanks.

How do you fix a blurry VR?

VR is blurry because of the optics and the eye box. The reasons behind blurry VR are poor quality lenses and lack of sweet spot of the headset. A super low-quality lens will give you a blurry and disturbed vision compared to a high-quality lens. Imagine comparing Google Cardboard with Oculus Rift.

Why is my VR slightly blurry?

Here's how:
  • Connect VIVE Pro Eye to your computer.
  • Turn on any of the controllers.
  • Put on your headset.
  • Press the System button on the controller.
  • From the SteamVR Dashboard, select VIVE Pro Eye.
  • Make sure Use eye tracking is enabled, and then select Calibrate.
  • Position the headset on your face and adjust the IPD.
