Buffs on minions with echo

Buffs on minions with echo - White and Brown Shih Tzu Mix Puppy With Minion Toy on Green Grass

In Dalaran Heist, suppose I buff a minion with Echo in Bob's Tavern. For example, suppose I use Tell a Story to give the minion +2/+2 for this run. If I play multiple copies of that minion in a single turn (using its Echo ability), do all of the copies receive the buff, or only the first copy?

Best Answer

All copies receive the buff.

If you modify the mana cost of the minion, the modification affects only the first copy of the minion, but subsequent copies have the base minion cost.

Does Echo keep buffs?

It doesn't keep buffs because it's not an actual clone of the card you just played, it's basically a new, same card. Assuming that Unstable Evolution is what echo is b4 the keyword exists, I recommend trying to get one as rogue with some burgle effect and playing Ethereal Peddler to confirm this.

How does echo work in Hearthstone?

Echo is an ability whereby the card can be played multiple times in one turn. This is accomplished through copying the card to the user's hand until the end of their turn. It was informally introduced in Kobolds & Catacombs as Unstable Evolution, and officially debuted in The Witchwood.
