What does a BIOS file do in an emulator like 'MyBoy!'?
Recently, I got MyBoy! full, and when I go through the "Settings" page, I see an option that says "Use BIOS" (Settings > Advanced) and a file explorer with it that allows you to search the BIOS file.
My questions are:
- Why enable it? It seems to work fine without it
- Does the BIOS increase the performance of the game?
- Is it recommended to use a BIOS?
