Can you speedrun Bomberman with an emulator?
I have played Bomberman since I was little but now I would like to upload some speedrun even if my time is not ideal. But I don't have an NES right now. Is it legal to use an emulator? or do I need the NES or famicom? If I can use the emulator, which emulator is considered the most accurate?

Are emulators allowed for speedrunning?
I'm new to this site but not to speedrunning usually emulation is not allowed in high scores or speedruns with the exception of twin galaxies which allow MAME to be used. I hope in the future most score keeping and speedrunning sites begin to allow emulation as a platform for world records.What emulator do Speedrunners use?
