Use second server to serve data to players

Use second server to serve data to players - Woman in White and Black Stripe Shirt Playing Basketball

So I have a physical machine in my house which I am hosting a minecraft server on. I also have multiple lower powered vps machines that have very high bandwidth. Is it possible to connect the server in my house to my vps machines, and then have my vps machines serve the data to the players rather than my home machine. This way I would be able to serve more players, and would not run into bandwith problems (As the vps would serve all the data to the players, while my home machine only has to serve the vps). Is this possible?
