Texture issues, glitched screens, crashes in games

Texture issues, glitched screens, crashes in games - Silhouette of Tree Near Body of Water during Golden Hour

I have an Intel integrated graphics card (HD 530) and I am having issues with different games in my Linux (Fedora 25):

  1. In Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, the loading screen is glitched and the game crashes a few seconds after loading:

  1. In Mount & Blade, I have an error after the introduction video:

(Error message: "Unable to open texture file Textures\font.dds", even though the file does exist)

  1. In The Stanley Parable, the initial game screen is odd and there are several missing textures in the game, and it crashes after a few minutes at best:

In all games, I tried setting textures and settings to minimum, changing video modes, updating graphics driver, etc, but nothing worked.

The only similarities between them are that games 1 and 3 both use the Source engine (albeit with 7 years between them), and games 1 and 2 use Wine.

How can I fix it and play the games?

Your \u201ccomputer crashes when playing games\u201d issue may also be caused by system file corruption. You can run System File Checker and see if there're any system files missing or corrupted. If there are any, the sfc /scannow command (System File Checker) will repair them.

Why are my textures flickering?

One of the potential causes for the Texture Flickering can be the New Drivers pushed for The Medium. If you have updated your Graphics Drivers and facing issues after that, I would recommend you to ROLLBACK the settings to a previously stable driver.

Why does my game keep on glitching?

Your Game Keeps Crashing Because of Network Issues Avoid this being an issue by making sure that your network speed is suitable for playing the game. You should also check your router and disable other internet applications to ensure that only the game receives data. Avoid Wi-Fi where possible with online games.
