My GTA 4 social club is not opening

My GTA 4 social club is not opening - Sporty fitness trainer and man lifting barbell

So I recently installed GTA IV on my computer i did the online activate and then tried to start it (with the LaunchGTAIV.exe) and it said this.

What is this???

How do I fix this? Oh and I tried reinstalling The social club, so don't bother asking if i did so.

You may need to download GFWL. Even though GFWL isn't used anymore, some older games like GTA 4 required it alongside the Social Club. Worth a shot.

Why is Rockstar Social Club not opening?

Fix 1: Run the launcher with admin's rights 1) From your desktop, right-click on Rockstar Games Launcher and select Properties. 2) In the Properties window, select the tab Compatibility. Check the option Run this program in compatibility mode for: and Run this program as an administrator. Then click Apply > OK.

How do I activate Social Club in GTA 4?

  • Sign in with your Rockstar Games Social Club account.
  • Link Social Club and Steam accounts.
  • Click your avatar in the top right.
  • Select Redeem Code.
  • Enter your Rockstar Activation Code into the field.
