Why does Fallout Shelter provide Collect: On/Off options for Mr. Handy? Is there any specific circumstances where we'd prefer Mr. Handy not to Collect things?

Mr. Handy is assigned to a Floor, he will go left to right on the floor, and if a room if finished with production, he will collect it for you. When he does die, you have to pay 2000 caps to revive him. This is why I said, when he gets near the end of his life, it might be a good idea to send him into the wastelands.
