How to install two different versions of Minecraft Forge?

How to install two different versions of Minecraft Forge? - Set of assorted multicolored plastic dowels and various metal screws of different sizes placed on white marble table in workshop

My child has a Minecraft installation and wants to play two mods:

  1. Lucky Blocks
  2. Orespawn

Currently, there is a profile,

  • which runs under Minecraft version 1.8 and
  • uses Forge 11.14.3.1450.

I installed Lucky Blocks and it worked.

But Orespawn requires Minecraft 1.7.10 and Forge 10.13.2.1230.

How can I install a second Forge for Orespawn, without compromising the already installed Forge for Lucky Blocks?

How do I install multiple forge mods?

Click on the Mods button on the start page and open the mods folder from there. Then move all the downloaded mods to this folder. After moving the mods, exit Minecraft and restart it using the same forge/fabric profile. Doing this will install the mods.

Does forge version have to match Minecraft version?

Minecraft forge only works with the java version of minecraft, not the windows 10 version of minecraft. Unfortunately, if you want to use mods, you'll have to get the java edition. Here's a link that explains all the different versions. Again, only the top one (Java Edition) will work with minecraft forge mods.
