1.9 added a set of glider wings for us to use. Now that I have an elytra, how do I use it?

In order to activate the glider feature of the elytra, you need to have it equipped in the chest piece slot, jump off a cliff face, and press space in midair. It is imperative that you press space again, since simply jumping is not enough.

How do I duplicate an elytra?

Go into the world you want to dupe the items in. Make sure 'Pause on Lost Focus' is off - Do this by pressing F3+P until you see something like "[Debug] Pause on lost focus: disabled" in chat. Put the items that you would like to dupe in your inventory. Close the world and open it up again.

How do you use dupes in Minecraft?

Do the same thing by going to your inventory by touching a replica of the very same item you placed within the chest. Save and quit and then immediately go back to the world you just left. The item should be duplicated in the very chest you have been fiddling with.
