How do I transfer a minecraft server backup to another server?

I recommend FileZilla. This should work for pretty much any hosting service, but I can tell you for certain that it works for shockbyte (which the asker has clarified they are using in the comments) because they have a How To section for using FileZilla. Once you have learned how to do that once you will find FileZilla (or perhaps some other FTP client) wonderfully convenient and straightforward for all future server management needs.
- Connect to old server via FileZilla
- Download the files
- Connect to new server via FileZilla
- Upload the files

Head to the Game Panel and stop the server. To the left of the game panel, click on the “Backup” tab. Locate which world/date you want to restore and press “Restore” to the right of it.Where are minecraft server backups saved?
Within the directory you're running the server from, there should be a world folder. In that directory are all of the files that your server needs to run. The most important thing to backup would be the region folder within the world folder, which actually contains all the "block information".Sources: Stack Exchange - This article follows the attribution requirements of Stack Exchange and is licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0.
