More endurance means more HP, but would it help even more to equip dwellers with +endurance gear?
Best Answer
Yes.
HP gains per level are based on the effective endurance stat, so +Endurance gear adds to this.
So to get the maximum health of 644 for a dweller, train them to 10 Endurance, and then equip them with the +7E Heavy Wasteland Gear.

Additionally, looking at the game code:
healthMax += (CurrentLevel - lastLevelUpdated) * (EffectiveStat(ESpecialStat.Endurance) * HealthLevelModifierFactor + HealthLevelModifierBase);

How much health does Endurance give Fallout 4?
On level up, you get 2.5 health + half a point per endurance. So 3 health per level at 1 Endurance (minimum). With 10 Endurance, you gain 7.5 points per level and will see the extra point come every other level. Thankfully, this effect is retroactive.Does Endurance matter Fallout 4?
Endurance determines a character's environmental resistances (poison, radiation), Hit Points, and Healing Rate, as well as the starting levels of the Unarmed and Survival skills. It also determines the number of implants allowed.What Endurance affects Fallout 4?
Endurance determines how many hit points dwellers gain as they level up. Dwellers start with 105 health points. They seem to get 2.5 + (END * 0.5) health points each time they level up, so 17 points in Endurance will add 11 hit points per level compared to the minimum of 3 at END 1.Fallout Shelter: Everything Endurance
