Complimentary Shaders with the M1 chip

Complimentary Shaders with the M1 chip - Fried Potatoes

Details:

  • I am using the M1 chip from Apple
  • My hardware is the macOS Monterey
  • Using Mac version 12.2 beta

Problem:

Every time I try to load MC (any version) with shaders such as, BSL or Complimentary shaders Minecraft crashes. Some shaders do work, like Sildurs and Toaster shaders but I would like to know how to fix this.

Note: If I go on the homepage, and click "options" from there, and then put the shaders, it doesn't crash. But after doing that and loading a world it crashes

Does shaders work on Mac M1?

Complementary is a Minecraft Java Edition shader pack based on Capt Tatsu's "BSL Shaders". The goal of Complementary is being good at everything. Performance, gameplay, beauty, compatibility; you name it.

How do you get shaders on Mac M1?

The M1 Macs run Minecraft with Optifine really well. Whether you're playing on a 13\u201d MacBook Air or MacBook Pro using the laptop screen or plugged into any of the most common monitor sizes - you should be fine to play however you want.
