I've had my PS Vita for about 2 years now, and I haven't played on it in a while. I wanted to play on it again, so I charged it for about 2 hours, but the orange light was still blinking.
Is there anyway to fix this?
I love the console and I would do anything to get it back.
I DO use an off-brand charger (my original one stopped charging for some reason), but I have used it before and it worked well!

The PS Button will light up orange while charging as well, so you can see that it's charging when the power is off. The Vita will also passively and very slowly charge when it is plugged into your PC. There is no visible indicator of charging when not plugged in via the wall socket. How do I know my PS Vita is charging?
By holding in the power button for about 20-30 seconds the screen will first go blank, then restart with a 5 selection menu. Choose option 1, restart the Vita, & press X. The system will reboot and you should be "unfrozen"!PlayStation Vita Support | Power Issues
