Is this a suitable arena for The Destroyer?
I'm trying to get an arena ready for a big fight against The Destroyer. I built this arena above The Dungeon after defeating Skeletron. After a long time on the wiki, my friends helped me figure out a good arena. But while I'm building this, I have doubt that this is a good arena.
Should I stick with this arena and continue what I started, or should I completely restart and change to something else?

For the Destroyer, I would recommend build a TON of raised wooden platforms like that, but longer, such as 5 or 6 times that size. I would also recommend setting up a Campfire somewhere, as well as some Heart Lanterns, and Stars in Bottles, if you use mana. Here is another thing I would highly recommend: Occasionally, the Destroyer will shoot a TON of lasers at once, and I find that really annoying. But: I found a method to prevent lasers from hitting you. The Destroyer’s lasers are unable to pass through solid blocks, so set up a small room ( Roughly 5x5 ) with doors at both ends. That way you can protect yourself.
Anyways, good luck, and I hope these strategies help!

- Weapons: Either Clockwork Assault Rifle (Wall of Flesh drop) and party bullets or Minishark with Meteor Bullets. The former has more damage, but the latter is easier to get and can hit twice with each bullet, which is really useful against the destroyer.
- Armor: Necro Armor will give the best ranged DPS.
