Is there an advantage to playing as Deprived?

Every other class in Dark Souls has benefits, spells or weapons etc. They also have specific stats that help them with those benefits. Deprived has none of those advantages, they have evenly balanced stats, and no starting armor or perks. Is there any advantage to playing as Deprived?

What is the point of deprived DS?

The Deprived is one of the classes in Dark Souls. With absolutely no armor and all stats at 11, the Deprived will force the beginning player to scavenge for, or purchase, a decent armor and shield.

Do deprived get more stats?

Not really, no. The sum of the stats is the same at each level. A level 100 deprived built as a quality build will have the same amount of stats as a level 100 warrior, but will have more useless stats like faith and int. A luck build!
