Is there a way to revert Fallout 3 back to a previous version?

Building on my previous question about VaultMP.
I am now trying to get VaultMP to work with Fallout 3, but the launcher states that my game version is not supported.
My game version is 1.7.0.3
, the latest version of the game. It should also be known that this is a non-Steam version of the game. The game automatically updates to 1.7.0.3
when installed on a new PC from the CD.
Is there a way of rolling back the game a version or two? Like to version 1.6 or 1.5?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
