How to open Treasure Pods

I've placed made and placed over 35 gadgets and I got the thing saying that I unlocked the treasure cracker but it's not in my store or in my blueprints. I can't open the treasure pods either. I've tried restarting my game but it still doesn't work. Any thoughts?

How do treasure pods work slime rancher?

Treasure Pods are spherical objects found dotted around the Far, Far Range. Each one will reward Beatrix with a unique blueprint for Slime Science gadgets, a Decoration, 3 Slime Science Resources, or - more rarely - 3 Golden Plorts. They are usually found in out of the way spots and can be only opened once per game.

How do you open crates in slime rancher?

Crates are wooden boxes that can be found throughout the Far, Far Range. They can contain a wide variety of items including Slimes, Food, and Newbucks. They are too big to be stored in the vacpack, but can be held onto the nozzle and launched against a wall to break them open.

How many treasure pods are there in slime rancher?

Treasure Pods hold lots of goodies inside, and each one will contain a Slime Science Blueprint. On top of that, players can get decorations from the pods and resources like Lava Dust that otherwise can take a while to find. There are 115 Pods in all in the vanilla game.
