How many entities in an area?

I want to make it so I always have 50 entities in an area. So when 1 dies/despawns/leaves the area I want it to detect that and summon in a new entity, and yes I do want them to die/despawn/leave the area so preventing those things is not an option.

How many entities can there be?
All living creatures in Minecraft are called entities, and there is a limit to how many of them can stay together in one place. This is a game rule called entity cramming that by default does not allow more than 24 mobs to stand on the same block. How do you count entities?
Entity cramming affects how many mobs can stand in a single space. It does this by placing a limit on the number of entities that can fit onto one block. The default entity cramming value for Minecraft mobs is 24. If this number is exceeded, the mobs will start to take suffocation damage. How many entities do you need for entity cramming?
There are currently 31 Mobs in Minecraft, not including the player. There are different categories of Minecraft mobs, including passive, neutral, tamable, hostile, utility, bosses, and unused. Passive mobs do not attack the player, even when provoked.Entity, Entity Type, Entity Set | Database Management System
