How do I run command and conquer generals (zero hour) in Windowed mode via origin

So, I've got the combination game of C&C Generals with and without Zero Hour on Origin, however the game is pretty (really) old and doesn't work well with modern hardware so I want to run it in windowed mode.

I should be able to pass "-win" to it via commandline arguments, however if I try that it starts a launcher which doesn't pass the commandline arguments along.

I've tried starting the game without the launcher... but that just starts the launcher again.

Inside your My Documents folder, you will find a Command and Conquer Generals Data folder. Inside this folder you will find a file called Options. ini , edit this file. Find the line that says Resolution = and change the value from whatever it is to whatever you want.

Make sure you did all the steps in Setup section.

In the game go to Multiplayer menu from the Main menu.

Then to LAN.

Here you should see the lobbies created by hosts, join the one you like.

Press Accept and wait till the lobby creator will start the game.
