Does enabling gyro control in RE8 (still) disable the right stick?
Resident Evil Village supports gyro controls on PS5 and PC, but enabling the feature disables the right gamepad stick entirely and apparently the motion controls are always tracked, not only when aiming (down sights, as implemented in 'Killzone: Mercenary' and 'Uncharted: Golden Abyss' on PS Vita). Off-hand I'd consider the setup as unusable since standard controllers aren't designed to be wildly swung around — the gyro functionality was likely meant to complement existing controlling methods (mainly analogue sticks), not replace them (especially moving the entire first-person view).
On PC you can likely at least alleviate the issue with Steam input or similar third-party gamepad-mapping software (provided that your controller is compatible). The Xbox controllers don't have gyroscope in the first place.
