Does Attack Up on Bow also affect the sword?

Does Attack Up on Bow also affect the sword? - Purple-petaled Glower Besode Pen

If I have a bow that has Attack Up + 6 equipped, does this mean that when I use my sword, the sword also gets the attack up benefit?

Does it affect all other attacks I may do?

Best Answer

No, weapons have a base attack stat. The bow's stat is modified by the Attack Up bonus, so the value you see in the corner is the attack amount of just the bow and nothing else

What does attack up mean on weapons in Botw?

The number includes the added attack. If you have a weapon with 45 attack and "+15 mod", the original weapon value is 30. Thus, if you're looking at a weapon that has 20 Attack but has an Attack Up +10 modifier, then that weapon really does have just 20 Attack, because its base Attack was actually 10.

How much damage do arrows do in Botw?

Fire arrows kill ice enemies, ice arrows kill fire enemies, and ancient arrows kill Guardian enemies (if you shoot them in the eye, otherwise they always take 1/3 of their maximum health in damage). Other than that, the only benefit to using elemental arrows is to apply the elemental effect to the enemy hit.
