Is it possible to skip the naval components of AC4: Black Flag?

You can't really skip the naval part of Black flags. But you can fast travel. I recon about 60% is naval, as that is the key selling point of the game.

Yeah, can't skip it unfortunately. Shame too, that mission sucks. I like being able to kill ships whenever I want, but you have to loot like 5-6 ships just to get the metal required to finish, unless you get lucky early.Can you get a different ship in Black Flag?
